About the Team
The end product of this project is a result of the collaboration between all three members. We were present in every step of the way. However, we each took lead on different parts of the process to maximize our efforts and efficiency. Read below to learn more about how each of us contributed to this project.

Karen Liu is a graduate student in the journalism department. After graduating in May 2020, she is hoping to pursue a business degree to learn more about digital marketing using emerging communications tools.

Chantal Vaca is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Science in Journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Outside of the classroom she oversees and manages The Collective Magazine, an art magazine based in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

Peyton Wesner is a graduate student pursuing his Master of Science in Journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Wesner’s professional experience ranges from play-by-play for a Minor League Baseball team to production work for Big Ten Network.
